I Wanna Be Here!

Doesn't this look nice! We are on Day 18 of rain...we are all about to jump off the roof! I'm looking at our Fall Cruise that John and I took to the Bahamas and I'm wishing I was there right now. Blue Sky..Blue Water and a nice drink with an umbrella! Yummy!

    I found your blog through Cold Antler Farm when I was reading comments today. I was struck by several things: we share the name and (correct!) spelling, Laurie; I, too, have a new puppy who is peeing all OVER my house, and when your daughter gave you a rose, and your husband said "see, she DOES love you," it struck very close to home. I don't know what HE meant, but having an 18 year old daughter who just graduated, for whom I feel like I can NEVER do anything right, and who acts as though my presence on earth most of the time is just to bug her, I sometimes wonder that very thing - do you love me, or hate me? Most days, I'm sure it's a little, or a lot, of both. Anyways, I like the simplicity of your blog, and will continue to check in. Take care. Coffeedog (Laurie)
