Getting Reading for Vacation

We are getting ready to leave tomorrow for our vacation to Old Orchard Beach, Maine! Mylo went for his first haircut today. We wanted him to look good on vacation! He is looking more and more like a poodle but still has strong personality traits of a schnauzer!
Kaylee was busy in the kitchen baking away. She made muffins, cookies, brownies and a Lemon poppy seed bread! Smells good in here!
While she baked, I sewed myself a skirt! I haven't worn a skirt in years! Looks good..summery! Have a good day!

Happy Birthday!

My nephew, Justin, turned 8 yesterday! (He's the middle child). He had a birthday party with his friends where they played wrap the mummy and who can eat the donut the fastest.
They had a great day! One of his gifts was to go to Boston and see a skateboarding tournament with his friend, Timmy! He had alot of fun! So, Happy Birthday Justin! Love you lots!

Mom's Birthday

We went to Sharon's house to celebrate my Mom's birthday this past weekend. It was a beautiful day so the kids could went swimming. Uncle John went in the pool with the boys and had fun! Here's Gavin (almost 2) hanging out on the deck of the pool.

Tall Ships

Yesterday we went to Boston to see the Tall Ships. It was a beautiful day. After viewing some ships, we headed over to Quincy Market for lunch and browsing of the shops. Great day had by all!

Camping at Normandy Farms

Gavin is sitting at a car console that was Out of Order. He had a blast moving the steering wheel and making car noises!

Lego time inside because it was raining again!

It that the sun that is in Travis' eyes! Yes, it is! The sun came out for the morning then the "tornado" warning came out around 3pm!

We had fun even though it rained most of the time! We had a fire one night where the kids made dough boys and Sharon and I had a s'more! Yummy!

Camping with the Nephews!

My sister Sharon, her three boys and I went camping this past Monday thru Thursday. We had one beautiful day, Monday, and then the rest was rain! OMG! On Wed. afternoon we had a tornado warning so we went up to the Rec Hall and played Candy Bar Bingo while the storm went over us.
We had one fire on Monday nite where we made our dough boys and s'mores! Hopefully the sun will come out sometime for us New Englanders so we can have a good summer.

I Wanna Be Here!

Doesn't this look nice! We are on Day 18 of rain...we are all about to jump off the roof! I'm looking at our Fall Cruise that John and I took to the Bahamas and I'm wishing I was there right now. Blue Sky..Blue Water and a nice drink with an umbrella! Yummy!
