Hospital Trip!

John had to take a trip to the hospital yesterday due to a fall Saturday night. We knew he had broken his wrist but wanted to wait until morning to go to the hospital. Once there, they did a CT Scan and xrays and found he has a few areas that are bleeding in his head. Not good!

So he was transferred to another hospital. After waiting there for 12 hrs they decided to keep him overnight for observation. He will have another CT Scan in the morning, to make sure the bleeds haven't gotten any bigger. They did realign his wrist and put that in a cast. Hopefully he will come home on Monday.

This is where I'd rather be!

Enough snow already! It snowed yesterday and we got about 3-5 inches. There is more snowing coming tonite into tomorrow, another 8-12"! We already had about 3 feet of snow on the ground. Enough is enough! Living in New England sure is fun! NOT! I think its time to move somewhere sunny! Like in this pic!




I'll go to the library today to stock up on some books and hopefully finish sewing a baby quilt. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Snow, Snow & More Snow

We got about 18" of the wonderful white stuff yesterday! John stayed home from work and ended up bringing Jared to work. He works at a local retail store and went in for 9am..they didn't have a customer till noon time. No money making on that day!
Jared goes back to school on Monday. He was wonderful having him home.

We'll watch this guy on Sunday! I do believe the Jets are going down! LOL

Turning 18!

Happy Birthday to Kaylee today! She turns 18! She can buy cigarettes, scratch tickets and able to vote! Time sure did go by fast. Feels like yesterday she was going to first grade.

She is enrolled at our local university as a dual enrollment student instead of finishing her senior year at our high school. She didn't have a very good high school experience and going to the local university as made a world of difference. She is much happier and full of smiles! Its been wonderful!

So Happy Birthday Kay! We love you tremendously!

Four of Us

It's been awhile seen I've blogged. Jared and Kaylee have a month off from college, so it's been nice hanging with them. We had a wonderful holiday season. I sure did miss though going to the toy store and doing all the shopping. It's not fun buying gift cards..even though thats what teens want.




Miss Kaylee has a birthday this coming weekend. She turns 18! Yikes! When did that happen? I remember when she was 5 yrs and asked for a Barbie doll! Maybe thats what I'll get her this year too!
