Rain, Rain, Go Away

It's been raining since Tuesday and we are done! It's time for some sunshine. I haven't done much..a little sewing a taking care of Mylo. He doesn't like his crate, but sure does love peeing on my kitchen floor.

Memorial Day Weekend

It was a wonderful weekend here in New England. We did get a thunderstorm in the middle of the night once, which put the puppy into a tailspin. Mylo is doing fine and learning how to poop outside, but the peeing is another story! He loves the kitchen floor for that.

Went to my parents on Monday for a cookout. Played outside with Sharons boys..baseball and running around with Mylo. They loved the pup. My Dad wanted to weigh him. He weighs 3 lbs!

This week is getting organized for Jared's upcoming graduation. I can't believe the he is graduating and off to college! Where did the time go?

A Garden

We have decided to put in a garden. Oh, boy! We've planted
green beans, green peppers, tomatoes, summer squash,
peas and lettuce. Can't wait..hopefully no creature will eat them. Maybe chickens will be next!

Here's a pic of Kay and the pup. We went yesterday for a visit. We pick him up on the 21st.! Can't wait.

Mother's Day

What a beautiful day in New England. We sat outside for most of the day and enjoyed the sun. Spent the afternoon at my sister Sharon's house with my parents and her inlaws. It was a great time. Here's Sharons youngest, Gavin, trying to climb the basketball pole.

Addition to the Family

We got a pup! Yup..we finally did it. Kaylee has been asking, pleading, begging, saving for a pup and we finally said yes. We went to a local kennel and they breed schnoodle and cockapoo. We are getting a schnoodle. Here he is! The two names Kay is thinking about are: Levi and Rudy. She's leaning more towards Rudy.

He'll get to be about 16lbs. She's very happy. Jared went and held him and fell in love instantly. It'll be nice having a pet in the house.

Smiles

After 2.5 years, Kaylee finally got her braces off! Doesn't she look great! I had to take a pic of both of their smiles. Didn't do much today, except driving back and forth to the orthodontist. She had to go back in the afternoon to get her retainer.

Quilt from Amish Country

Here's a pic of the new quilted wallhanging I purchased while in PA. I'll have to move some photos to get it up on the wall, but I'm sure I'll find a new place for them.

John made some flower/veggie beds for our backyard. We
are going to try and grow some veggies! Hopefully we'll get some yummies!
