My visitors for the day!

The Metcalf Gang came and visited for the day! It was a great day for swimming and hanging out. Here's Gaving (almost 2) inside with Auntie having some juice. Here's Gavin standing on top of the slide thinking he's It! Which he is! Sharon's is holding his leg and I think if she didn't..it might have gone down!

Visitors Tomorrow

These are my visitors tomorrow! Travis, Justin and Gavin. Yes, there are bringing their Mom (my sister) too! Can't wait! It's going to be a beautiful day, so we'll do some swimming, play with Mylo and maybe a game of corn hole!

Old Orchard Beach, Maine

We went to Old Orchard Beach camping for the week. It was beautiful weather, nice campground and a great time had by all. Here's Kay and I playing rummikub for the 50th time. I'm pretty sure she beat me most of the time! We went to the Portland SeaDogs Baseball Game! We left during the 7th inning stretch! The SeaDogs won!

We went to the beach and walked around, put our feet in the cold water and had an ice cream!

Jay & Kay hanging out. Jay will be leaving at the end of the month for his first year of college. Oh, we'll miss him!

We sure did have a good time. Very relaxing. We even brought our pup, Mylo, and he loved it too!

Getting Reading for Vacation

We are getting ready to leave tomorrow for our vacation to Old Orchard Beach, Maine! Mylo went for his first haircut today. We wanted him to look good on vacation! He is looking more and more like a poodle but still has strong personality traits of a schnauzer!
Kaylee was busy in the kitchen baking away. She made muffins, cookies, brownies and a Lemon poppy seed bread! Smells good in here!
While she baked, I sewed myself a skirt! I haven't worn a skirt in years! Looks good..summery! Have a good day!

Happy Birthday!

My nephew, Justin, turned 8 yesterday! (He's the middle child). He had a birthday party with his friends where they played wrap the mummy and who can eat the donut the fastest.
They had a great day! One of his gifts was to go to Boston and see a skateboarding tournament with his friend, Timmy! He had alot of fun! So, Happy Birthday Justin! Love you lots!

Mom's Birthday

We went to Sharon's house to celebrate my Mom's birthday this past weekend. It was a beautiful day so the kids could went swimming. Uncle John went in the pool with the boys and had fun! Here's Gavin (almost 2) hanging out on the deck of the pool.

Tall Ships

Yesterday we went to Boston to see the Tall Ships. It was a beautiful day. After viewing some ships, we headed over to Quincy Market for lunch and browsing of the shops. Great day had by all!
